Great question, Joyce! As I look at the list of medications I’m overwhelmed. The information is hidden in the “narrative” and if the provider could supply this information in a form that matches an itinerary (say, for a group cruise) it could be much more accessible. Even better, send a reminder every time a medication is due to be taken via text, if the patient requires it. Annoying, maybe, but it would serve as a double-check at different points of the day and week. Healthcare should be designed from the standpoint of the user, not the institution! Concierge caregiving is technologically possible — why aren’t we doing it?!
